How to Book & Terms and Conditions

Booking Details

All bookings run from Saturday to Saturday.
All prices are all inclusive and are in GBP().
The rentals include all bed linen, duvets, pillows, towels and tea towels, but not cot bedding.
Please phone for special offers and winter breaks.
Approx one third of the total rental is required as a deposit.
The balance is due 8 weeks prior to the arrival date of the holiday and upon receipt
   of this the arrival directions will be sent to the address on the booking form.
Arrival time is 3.00pm and guests are kindly requested to depart by 10.00am.

Booking Conditions

Please ring or email for up to date availability before sending any money, your dates can be reserved for you while the deposit and booking form are in the post.

Please print out the booking form and complete by hand. The booking form must be returned to the address above with one third of the total amount as deposit, with cheques made payable to Mrs J Kemp. The balance is then due 8 weeks before the beginning of the holiday; failure to pay the final balance by the due date might be considered a cancellation.

Telephone and email enquiry dates will be held for three working days pending the arrival of the deposit and booking form.

If the booking is within 8 weeks prior to the holiday the full amount will be due. Non-payment by the Due Date may be treated as a cancellation.

Please note our cancellation policy:

In the event that you have to cancel, we require that you inform us as soon as possible so that we can endeavour to re let the same booked period. You may cancel your booking at any time after the booking is confirmed, however no refund will be made for any monies paid unless we can re-book the same dates/days of the cancelled holiday at the same price.

If we can re-book the period of the cancelled holiday, but at a lower price, we will refund this proportion less an administration charge. If we are unable to re let your booked dates we reserve the right to retain the rental paid.

In certain cases any loss, if incurred involuntarily, may be covered by insurance that you may have taken out.

Travel Insurance is strongly recommended and a list of insurers is available on request.

J Kemp acts as agent for the owner of the Snug (hereafter referred to as 'the Owners' or 'the Owner'). The rental arrangements are made by J Kemp, on behalf of the Owner and the contractual relationship is directly between the Owner of the property and the Guest.

The accommodation cannot be shared with anyone other than those stated on the booking form.

Pets are welcome at the Snug (by prior arrangement, please ring for a chat) and owners must adhere to our Dog Policy. Should the pet cause any damage or if excess cleaning is required the pet deposit may be retained.

If charged, the refundable pet damage deposit will be returned to you with in 14 days of your holiday ending provided the cottage has been left in a clean and tidy state, any accidental damage must be reported to the owner as soon as it occurs.

In the unlikely event that we have to cancel your holiday for reasons beyond our control, all payments will be returned in full and final payment.

Our liability shall not exceed the amount of rent actually paid by the hirer for the accommodation.

No liability can be accepted for loss or damage to any vehicle or its contents nor to the hirers personal belongings.

If the hirer should vacate the property in such a state that it is deemed un-lettable, we reserve the right to claim compensation from that hirer for further cancelled bookings.
